The end of 2010 and the start of 2011 sees a dramatic change in life at Maison-Limoux, with the owner looking to spend more time in situ enjoying the fine life that this part
of France has to offer. Not quite retirement but a change of pace, and a big commitment to master the language and to complete the blending into the French life that started ten years ago.
Now after seven years of slowly moulding the house into not only a desireble home but also a viable holiday rental business, the time has come to make the next step. Recent changes made to the house has meant that the self catering holiday rental business can continue to operate alongside our comfortable home. The above changes allow expansion of the business in several different directions, without losing the ability to offer a fully self-contained holiday home for past and future guests. Self-catering holiday home. As described in the other webpages this large house offers a comfortable centre for your visit to the Aude and Limoux area. The house sleeps 6 comfortably but another double room is available by arrangement with the owner in his private quarters, for a small additional cost. It is furnished to the same standard as the self-contained holiday home. Chambre D'Hôte. A new Bed and Breakfast service is offered for 2011, for those visitors who just need a comfortable place to sleep and relax. Full use of the lounge and dining area is included in the package, as well as Tea and Coffee making facilities. French style breakfast "le petit déjueuner" Your stay can be arranged to suit your needs and timescales, talk to us about your requirements and we will endeavour to meet these. Please note that the Chambre D'Hôte service does not operate when the house is being let out, but bookings are on first come first served basis except during the months of July and August.
